Our final day on the islands was drawn to and end with a final stop at the twin craters, well one of them, before our boat and flight back to Ecuador.  The craters are two extinct volcanic craters that have been overgrown and filled with lush green foliage.  There is a short wooden fence around the top edge that couldn’t really stop anyone from the other side which is a rather steep drop into the surprisingly deep crater.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to see them both at once or from above, so pictures of one will have to fuel the imagination on what the twin looks like.

Have you seen the twin craters?  From above?  What did you think of them?
