I’m Megan, a Cheesehead at heart currently calling the sunshine state home. I’m here to help you plan the best road trip ever. Whether you’re indoorsy, outdoorsy, or a little bit of both (hi, hello, that’s me), I’ve got you covered.
I write about day hikes, national parks, road trips, and all things related to that. Think ghost tours, weird roadside attractions, sculpture parks, and an occasional museum or two.
I’m here to show you that you don’t need to be outdoorsy to enjoy the outdoors. I love big road trips but I’m all about adventures close to home and am here to help you get outside any way you can.
When I’m not blogging or hiking you can find me reading, hanging out with my two (adorable) cats, or finding new ways to live sustainably. I have an affinity for fun nail polish, obnoxious earrings, and disaster movies.
I don’t want to say I’m an Eau Claire hiking pro, because I’m definitely not, but I did spend my fair share of time wandering through the woods back in the day.
Even before I left for my trip to visit home I had a giant list of posts I wanted to write, including this one. think the midwest is an underrated fall destination and II wanted to find the best places to see fall foliage in Eau Claire.
Before my visit home I scoured and mapped out my Wisconsin bucket list to make a plan to see all the things. One of those things I new I had to do was hike the Otter Creek Trails!
