We couldn’t not go to Wall Drug when we were this close to it. I saw the signs the first time I was in South Dakota, but it was all the way on the other side of the state. Not happening. This time we were going to the Badlands which happens to be right by it! Perfect!
That didn’t mean I knew what to expect though. I was kind of excited after all the anticipation of the signs for hundreds of miles, but after getting there I was a little let down. It was fun wandering between all the shops because this weird western statue stuff was all over, but all the little shops had all the same little trinkets and things.
I’m glad we stopped since we were in the area, but I don’t know if I would go back. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you’re close, but I wouldn’t make a special trip for it unless giant drug stores are your thing, then this is the place for you.
