Literally Just Pictures Of Green Things

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a just pictures post, so I figured today was a good day for that.

And this time it’s just pictures of green things! There’s some water but you’re going to be seeing a lot of plants, moss, and ferns (a lot of ferns) in this one.

Pictures like these tend to be some of my favorites that I take, it entirely depends, but I do love a lot of these very much and I hope you do too!

As usual, there will probably be something to say under the pictures throughout. Not a lot of them since it’s al ot of leaves but some of them!

This is one of the many thermal features at Yellowstone, I love this kind of icky green. I’m actually wearing a nail polish that looks a lot like this right now!

These are cinnamon ferns! There are a lot of these along the Putnam Trail.

This is part of the dragon sculpture at the end of the Enchanted Highway in North Dakota!

I love seeing caterpillars so much, especially these weird fuzzy ones. Definitely don’t touch them though!

This looks like a close-up of moss on a rock but it’s actually the side of a whole mountain on the Beartooth Highway!

These are skunk cabbages along the Putnam Trail, too.

I absolutely love this picture.

I have no idea what these flowers are but I love this one a lot, too.

These are orange blossoms on a tree at Dudley Farm Historic State Park near Gainesville. This tree smelled SO GOOD and now I’m on the hunt for a perfume that smells exactly like this (and a true magnolia one if you have any suggestions).

I also love how these ferns look with the pink flowers that fell onto them at Ravine Garden State Park in Florida.

Look at the little guy on La Chua Trail!

No alligators to be seen here!

This is a more tame version of the witch’s hair from the cover photo of this post!

The reflections at Big Cypress on the February 2024 trip were 10/10.

And finally, some mossy lichens to leave you with today.

  1. I’ve never heard of the Enchanted Highway in NoDak but we’re actually headed up that way this weekend. We may check it out, thanks for the suggestion! 🙂

    1. Ahh definitely check it out! I’d love to hear what you think! And I hope it’s less windy for you than us, certainly it will be less cold haha
