Arches National Park is the first national park I ever visited way back in 2015 and it was my favorite for a while because of that.

But then I started going to a lot of other parks and it fell lower in my ranking (but still fairly high, not top 5 though) because it was so busy and I hadn’t seen as much there as I wanted.

Shenandoah National Park. One of the best national parks to visit in the fall, for sure. It helps that Skyline Drive (the scenic road in Shenandoah) is connected to the incredible Blue Ridge Parkway but even without that, it would be one of the best places to see leaves change in the US.
