It’s no secret that I love the Tetons, especially in winter, but in 2024 I got to see it in the fall and I loved it just as much!
I’m also finally catching up on editing pictures since I moved back to Wisconsin and I had to start with the Tetons.
I have a few (actually helpful) posts in the works but I was too excited and wouldn’t have enough posts to share all these pictures, so I’m sharing them first in their own post!
We didn’t do any hiking on this trip (I was with my parents), just lots of sightseeing, which was just as enjoyable.
I think we got there right around peak foliage, maybe on the tail end of peak, and it was so beautiful! It was pretty busy but it wasn’t like, crazy?
It was busy enough that we couldn’t park at Jenny Lake though. The weather was perfect, up into the 70s during the day, though freezing at night.
The first day when we drive in from Yellowstone was PERFECT and nice and clear but the next day (our full day) and the day we left were both pretty smoky from the fire out near Togwotee which we could see from the park.
We drove the main highway through the park, the scenic drive, Gros Ventre Road and near Mormon Row, and the Jenny Lake Loop Road, which was a new one to me.
This is just a fun post to share some extra pictures that I may not have really had room for in my other posts I have coming up.
I put some notes in the captions of the some of the pictures and I hope you enjoy them (mostly the pictures but I suppose the captions too)!
