Literally Just Pictures Of Red Things Red Around the World

The other day I read a post from Brenna at This Battered Suitcase, one of my favorite blogs ever, about her recent (or lack thereof) blogging endeavors.

In it she mentions some of the old types of posts she wrote and loved, including photo essays like this one.

The state of blogging as we know it is.. not doing great and sometimes I just want to share things just because I love them.

That’s what this blog is for, after all. Sharing the things and places I love, and that includes photography.

I have thousands of pictures from over ten years of travel and I just don’t always get to share all of them even though I want to.

So, today and going forward, I’m channeling my inner Brenna Holeman and sharing things I love that Google just doesn’t care about alongside my usual content.

She shared a red things photo essay in the post I linked above which inspired this post, and it also felt fitting with my chosen blog name.

I do occasionally share posts like this (pictures of Death Valley, pictures of Moab, pictures of Germany, pictures of New Zealand, Slovenia, Wyoming in winter, you get it) but I want to do this more, and not just destination specific. You can see them all in my inspirational photos category.

Maybe I’ll share other things that aren’t just pictures, just because it’s what I feel like writing, but for now we’re starting with literally just pictures of red things.

I’ve scattered related links throughout under some of the pictures but I mostly hope you enjoy the pictures! There are plenty more where this came from.
