Every now and then I go back through old trip pictures and find some that I love but never did anything with.  I’ve recently done it with Slovenia and Taiwan and I’ve slowly been going through Central America, too, but those aren’t up yet.  It’s Japan’s turn now and some of these you may have already seen, others not.

The Perfect Packing List For Taiwan And Japan In The Winter

Before I left for Taiwan, I had no idea what to bring.  I had no idea what the weather was going to be like.  Hot and cold.  Helpful, right?

I also didn’t know I was going to Japan until I was there, which didn’t help either.  One last thing to make it difficult, I was going to the Philippines after, so I needed clothes for pretty much all weather.

Even if you’re on a tight budget, Tokyo is worth a visit.  It can be seen on the cheap, but don’t forget to splurge a little and have some fun.  This guide to Tokyo will help you plan the best trip possible.

I didn’t know much about Japan when I decided to go there.  All I knew was sushi, sumo wrestling, and well, not much else.  I did know that it was pretty weird though.  At least that was the rumor.  It was confirmed the first two days when I caught myself repeating “today is weird.”

I Really Liked The Skytree

Somehow I developed a minor obsession with the Skytree in Tokyo.  I’m not really sure how it happened.  I didn’t even go to the top.  I didn’t even go near it, actually, until my second to last day in Japan.  But for some reason, I always felt the need to Snapchat it and take pictures of it all the time.  Unfortunately, most of the pictures are the same.
