1 . Wine

Slovenia is pretty well known for wine, and while I was there I drank a lot of it.  Most of the places I went the wine was more on the dry side, but it was all so delicious and I wish I was there with some right now.  Not to mention, the wineries and vineyards are all in wonderful locations.

We didn’t have much time in Bled, but we got to see the highlights: the island and the castle.  Now that I’m home, I’ve realized there is tons of other awesome stuff to see in the area.  I now know that I definitely need to go back and it makes me a little sad I missed so much, even though I still saw quite a bit.

Like everyone when they travel, I learned a few things while I was in Slovenia.  Some about myself, some about the country.  Mostly about myself, but all from great experiences that I would definitely do again.

Slovenia Packing List

So, I have a lot of stuff.  Especially clothes.  This makes packing hard for me because I just want to bring it all.  I come up with too many “What if’s” when I’m packing.  Like way too many.  I tend to go through the list of “Oh, maybe I’ll want to go out one night” or “What if the weather is totally wrong and I need three pairs of pants and a sweatshirt and boots on the Galapagos Islands?!”  These questions make packing hard.
