I’ve recently been a bit obsessed with the Galapagos Islands. I’ve been watching a documentary about them and went back through all of my pictures from my trip. I thought it would be fun to share some Galapagos Islands facts with you today. If you want to read more fun facts, here are some about the US national parks.
Believe it or not, I never used to want to travel in the US. That seems crazy now after basically traveling around it for jobs for the last three years. I’m still dying to leave the country, which I haven’t done since I got back from the Philippines, but at the same time, I’ve loved exploring the US national parks.

I don’t talk about it all that much on here because I’ve never had the motivation to go back to find good pictures from my trip. It was also eight years ago, so it’s not super fresh in my brain. I finally decided to take on this task and share some pictures from my first trip abroad.
It was two weeks in Germany and I went with my German class. We went to Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber, Garmisch Partenkirchen, Munich, and Dachau. I stayed with a family for five or six days in Bodnegg outside of Ravensburg. They didn’t have a TV and it was actually kind of exciting not having one. I actually started reading there.

Lake Powell, at least North Lake Powell, usually gets passed up on Utah Road Trips. And it shouldn’t be, for good reason. No, it’s not great for budget trips, but it’s totally worth it to splurge on a boat rental for a day, or even to take a week and gather all your friends to split a houseboat rental. Trust me, it’s worth it and it’s an awesome way to explore the lake.
